Editorial Methodology
1. Sources we use
Our primary source is current manufacturer documentation: datasheets, manuals, and official product pages. Seller listings are used to confirm availability and the exact configuration being sold, not as an authority on performance.
2. Verification status
Every specification field carries one of two states:
- Verified: confirmed from an identified source, recorded with the date it was checked.
- Awaiting verification: not yet confirmed. We show the label instead of a number, rather than estimating.
3. Comparing specifications
We compare capacity figures only alongside their rating conditions, and only when the units and reference basis match. We do not recommend a dryer from compressor horsepower alone, and we do not name a "better" model unless documented specifications support it.
4. Testing
We have not hands-on tested the products currently covered. If that changes, the relevant page will say exactly what was tested and how.
5. Prices, ratings, and reviews
We don't display prices unless they've been verified, and even then they can change. We don't publish star ratings, review counts, or customer testimonials we can't substantiate.
6. Affiliate links
Product links may earn us a commission. A link is added only after its destination has been checked, and it's marked as sponsored. Commission does not affect which specifications we report. See the affiliate disclosure.
7. Corrections
If you spot an error, please contact us. Confirmed corrections are applied and the "last checked" date is updated.
